Heather Olson from Art Buddies

Heather has been a dedicated Art Buddies volunteer for more than five years.  She has provided one-on-one creative mentoring during fall and spring programs-sometimes working with two children when short on volunteers. Not only has she volunteered as a mentor at all three of their partnering schools, but also sits as a Governing Board member, and is an active fundraiser and event worker throughout the year.  Her ongoing advocacy and social media promotion has helped raise awareness about Art Buddies in the community and is always eager to cultivate prospective volunteers and donors.  Her passion, involvement, and efforts to always go above and beyond are truly valued and set a positive example for others.
