We’d like to kick off National Volunteer Week by thanking the wonderful volunteers who give their time to volunteer in the HOTC office every week. We are truly blessed to have such dedicated and talented volunteers!
While Dave Jones officially started his current volunteer work with us recently, he knows the ins and outs of HandsOn Twin Cities as a former staff member and long-time friend/volunteer. We are so grateful that he wanted to stay involved! Each week Dave writes, formats and sends the volunteer needs to be highlighted in the Star Tribune and our weekly e-newsletter of volunteer opportunities. With Dave in this role, we are able to provide publicity and volunteer recruitment assistance to our nonprofit affiliates. His attention to detail and organized process allows us to keep up with the weekly schedule of tasks that need to be completed.
Carol Kusic has been volunteering with HandsOn Twin Cities for 10 years! Every Thursday Carol is here with a smile ready to tackle any task given to her. Her role as an office assistant includes processing renewals and invoices to data entry, filing, collating packet materials and so much more. She doesn’t hesitate to jump into any special projects that are handed to her. She is thorough and speedy and takes pride in her work with us. We would not be able to implement our programs that serve our constituents and the community without the behind-the-scenes efforts of Carol’s work.
Craig Meinhardt came to HandsOn Twin Cities as a “skills-based” volunteer with extensive expertise in technology and software. He has been serving as a key point person for our website and database system called HandsOn Connect. For almost 2 years, Craig has been providing research and development, troubleshoots and conducts maintenance especially when new releases are launched, and keeps the website pages updated. Craig has also taken the time to recommend useful programs or alternative processes that help us run more efficiently.
Thank you Dave, Carol and Craig for the countless ways you support us at HandsOn Twin Cities!
